Thank you for your comment. It's really nice and interesting. In fact I totally agree with you.

I think that Hopper used this painting to denounce how sad and frustrating the post-industrial life was, even though it was supposed to make life "easier". It wasn't something everyone wanted and we can totally see that in the way he depicted this woman. For some reasons, I think that it's something we can feel in our current society.
